Day one on a ball should feel almost too easy. The goal of this sequence is not to tire you out — it is to teach your body where the balance point is so that everything after it works.
Sit tall, feet wide. Bounce gently and let the ball tell you where centre is. Then narrow your feet a few centimetres at a time until you find the width where it takes effort to stay still. Stop there.
Drape forward over the ball, chest and belly resting, arms and head heavy. Breathe into your back for two minutes. Then roll slowly to a seat and sit still for one more.
